Residence in Ely

Ely University Centre, in the very heart of Dublin, has traditionally organised English Language Courses for senior schoolboy and university students during the summer months. We no longer organise these language courses in the centre. However, we offer accommodation to students who would like to attend one of the many courses in English colleges located near Ely in the city centre.
Residents of Ely are able to participate in the extra-curricular activities that are organised in Ely, promising a challenging and enjoyable experience for all. Residents are encouraged to speak English at all times. Our educational programmes attract students from many different European countries. There will be the opportunity to meet Irish students through sporting and cultural activities organised by the centre.
In order to provide for the spiritual welfare of the students, a chaplain with a knowledge of continental languages will be available to residents. Ely University Centre is an educational undertaking of the Opus Dei Prelature.

The American College, Merrion Square (5 minutes walking from Ely)
The International Study Centre, Harcourt Street (10 minutes walking from Ely)
DATES & COST Accommodation is available during the summer months of June to September. The cost of full-board accommodation is €235 per week.
RESERVATIONS Places may be reserved on payment of a deposit of €300. The balance must be paid on arrival. Early application is advisable.
