Dublin is Ireland's capital city. A lively cultural centre, it attracts visitors throughout the year from all over the world. It is the home of world-famous writers and rock-bands. It has a thriving film industry, many interesting museums and spacious public parks. Wicklow, "the Garden of Ireland" is only a short journey away. There are ample opportunities to hear Irish traditional music and to meet Irish and foreign students.

Each summer, Ely welcomes applications for residence from overseas students who are interested in spending some time improving their fluency in English or who just want to sample some of the delights of a summer in Dublin.

In recent years we have had students from European countries such as France, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Poland, Greece, Portugal & Spain. Occasionally we have had visitors from places as far away as Argentina and Taiwan.
