AIRCOACH (private bus service)
This is the best way to get to Ely (unless you prefer a taxi). We recommend it as it will bring you directly to the city centre within @300m of Ely (5 minutes walking). You can access their web-page at www.aircoach.ie
Go to the exit of the Arrivals building in the airport. Outside the entrance at the other side of the road you will see the bus stop for the AIRCOACH service (large BLUE coache). They depart every 15 minutes into the city centre.It costs €7 single or €12 return.
For Ely, you should get off the bus at the 3rd stop i.e. at Merrion Square North at The American College.

Street - Gresham Hotel
Stop 2: Grafton Street - Trinity College
Stop 3: Merrion Square North - American College
Walk back 30 metres to the cross-roads. Cross the road to the park in front of you (Merrion Square) and walk up the road marked Merrion Square West. The National Gallery is on your right-hand side. Continue into Merrion Street Upper until you reach the next cross-roads. Cross the road into Ely Place. Turn right into Hume Street. Ely is located at the corner of Ely Place and Hume Street. The entrance is no. 10 Hume Street.
